Melitikus: It is not very good, as it is drawn by hand.

The forum is reporting that the European Commission has slightly changed the design of Honeycomb. In the morning when the competition was lanched 16 filled honeycombs where shown as you can see from the Before picture above. Later on another honeycombed was filled to make it 17 (= number of euro area countries)

for my humble opinion, none deserves to be selected, but I won the first in the voting of the emu 2009 and make it.

I'm wondering who was in the jury to select these designs...

Illioplius butterflies are not irrelevant - they have a good symbol as explained - they reflect metamorphosis, in 2002 the euro changed from a virtual currency to a tangible currency (when euro coins and banknotes were introduced)

you said that you had proposal could you upload it here? :d

Designs 2, 3 and 4 are completely inappropriate and, in my opinion, ugly and dull. Yes, first design has just a narrow connection with euro cash (say it connects peoples), but is quite gay (I mean like happy), interesting and nice. I like it more than bee design (my number two) so I voted it.

After all, as well as EMU coins, these coins will be also boring as all the members will have them the same.
