So, it will be the next coin of 2013, after the 50° of Elysée Treaty?

i like it but i think they should mint the 3rd one instead
Comment by 2euro Addicted on June 14, 2012 at 18:30 People who don't collect coins and don't speak Slovenian, will never understand what this coin is commemorating.
Comment by Ar1us on June 13, 2012 at 0:02 I do not like any of the 3 deasigns, to be honest.
I can't recall the cave to have been inhabited by prehistoric men... Just a Karst cave actually.... So not a real connection with the 2009 EMU coin, dear Robi, but the line-draw style of the design.
Being that ''empty'' when it is newly minted, I wonder what will happen to the circulating coins after some wear deterriorates their design... Perhaps an empty disk?

It's true! This is not really the best coin ever, however I wouldn't be so severe. The design is clean and net.... it reminds me (a bit) the finnish mint style.
In anycase, it goes perfectly along with the EMU 2009 commemorative! I'm sure some smart coinshop will produce soon a "gift box" with the two European "prehistorical coins" together!
Comment by Illioplius on June 12, 2012 at 10:09 Well, I like it. It is simple and clear. What an unusual coin!
