yes i know i made that comment in a sarcastic way

the EC should start to ask countries that when they submit a new motif they should also submit a paragraph on how the motif correlates with the issuance country

Does any of their coins have something to do with San Marino? I think no. Their statehood is closely connected to Italy, so that is where their objects of commemoration come from.
