Malta Euro Coins "Modified Design for Malta €2 Commemorative Coin 2012"

An officer at the Central Bank of Malta has revealed during a conversation with him that the design published few months ago for the 2 euro commemorative coin 2012 - Majority Representation 1887 has been modified. According to the same officer the bank has received lot of complaints about the design by various eurozone countries that a figure in the design is showing a Nazi salute and since this was not the intention of bank nor of the designer the bank has decided to modify the design. The modified design will be revealed in due time.

Those people remind me of Czech puppets Spejbl and Hurvínek – as can be seen here: http://www.spejbl-hurvinek.cz/obr/rodinka.jpg

This is the ugliest design that I have ever seen in 2e coin design, the design of persons or cartoons seem about a thriller scene,,, sorry but it is my personal opinion.  Urgently it´s necessary to change the design where surely there are smarter designers.

This design is pathetic. Hopefully, it will be changed considerably. Look at these ugly caricature faces!

the design of all 5 coins should have been changed..... none of them makes sense. No creativity no fantasy and no originality............. Finland commemorative coins should be an example to everyone!!!
