I am sorry folks but you don't know what you're saying, this IS a Very Ugly Coin. The execution of the modelling is very amateurish. I just have to comment on the very low artistic standard of most €2 commemorative coins being issued these days. It seems there aren't any good coin engravers around any more. This "everything goes" attitude is doing this very specialized art form a lot of harm.
