To mark the XIII Special Olympics World Summer Games ATHENS 2011 (to be held from 25.06.2011 through 04.07.2011) and to highlight the importance and significance of the institution, the Ministry of Finance has dedicated the 2011 commemorative and collector coin programme to the event and, in cooperation with the Bank of Greece Printing Works, will issue a 2 € commemorative coin, a new series of collector coins and special sets of circulation coins.
