As in 2010 and 2011, in 2012 France will issue 12 themes of coins - for the third year in a row it will also issue the euro coins of regions with next year theme being Great Regional Figures. France will also issue a coin in the Europa Star series programme - next year theme will be Sculptures. Like all the countries of the euro zone, France will issue a 2 euro commemorative coin to commemorate the 10 years of euro cash (10 million coins). It will also issue a national 2 euro to commemorate the 100th anniversary since the birth of Abbe Pierre (1 million coins). Check the source below for the full numismatic programme.

I think it will be difficult to have it because 1 million is low for France. In addition, French people lke the person who will be on the coin as result french will keep it.
Have a look to German CC with a mintage of 1 million... there are difficult to found :)

Hi Stephane. Which coin do you think it will have a "high swap value" and why? Because "only" 1 million coins? Check all the other countries that have issued the same quantity during past years: Slovakia, Slovenia, Portugal, Greece this year. No high value of the coin, maybe in 3 years or more it goes up to 4eur (selling price), but not much more ... or am I mistaken? Best regards. T.
