This year looks like it is going to be expensive for those that collect 2 euro commemorative coins and have little budget

Malta and Portugal will have low mintage volumes - so the Portuguese coin will be similar in price to Luxembourg 2011 and the Maltese one presumably more expensive

Looks that Monaco will also mint a 2 euro commemorative coin - latest source says that mintage will be only 25,000

I believe this is not nice for some of the collectors as perhaps wont be affordable and collectors might give up on collecting these coins.

In my opinion only time should make these coins expensive and all coins should be issued in a decent volume circa at least 700,000 coins

1) How are you finding these coins? Expensive?

2) okay so far but with more countries joining and more coins , it will be expensive?
