The set consists of the Cyprus euro coins with mint year 2012 in brilliant uncirculated condition and the €2 commemorative coin (semi-proof) issued in 2012 on the occasion of ten years of euro banknotes and coins.
The current set is the third in the series of Cyprus euro coin sets dedicated to the mosaics of Paphos which are included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. These mosaics decorated the floors of the houses of wealthy residents in the Roman Period in Cyprus (58 BC – 330 AD). The coins are set in a three-ply brochure placed in a sleeve. The brochure and sleeve present mosaics from the House of Orpheus which has been named after the large mosaic panel of “Orpheus and the Beasts”.
The issue is limited to 12.000 sets which will be offered for sale in Cyprus and abroad at €25,00 (including VAT) per set. Check the source for more details regarding ordering this set from the bank
