@ Igor and lefa, I like this study of the design patterns of the different euro series. Could you tell us more about it?

Hi, how and where it will be possible to order a coins? thanks

@lefa - thanks for the correction! We can still speculate that the upcoming Andorran set will be the only circulation set with this pattern. If, of course, it makes it out into circulation!

but it is not clear yet how this is going to work

e.g. some of the denominations by spain and rest by france

or one year spain and the year after france

or all denominations minted by both france and spain (this would be more costly)

The coins will be minted by Spain and France".

If this will be the case, we will have then two series of circulation coins: one with French mintmark and another with the Spanish one!

the picture of flag could be much more better than this :D

@Igor, if you count the old series, Monaco Rainer III set (2001-2005) is the same arrangement.

This is interesting news! Hopefully, the design competition will be published on the web so we can follow the process and see which designs have won.

If the rules stand as they are, Andorran Euro coin set will have a unique design pattern 3+3+1+1:

1,2,5 cents - design A

10,20,50 cents - design B

1 euro - design C

2 euros - design D

I don't think any other euro coin set has this pattern. Latvia originally wanted to have the same one, but later on they had to replace the unique 2 euro coin design with that of 1 euro.
