Next year, Belgium will hold the 6 months rotation presidency of the EU. To commemorate this Belgium will issue a €2 commemorative coin. The blog PULIFIL pulished an image of this coin. We will verify if it is official or not and keep you tuned!

Like every year, Belgium next year will issue its annual blister folder containing the 8 euro coins, dated 2010. €20 banknotes with a serial code starting with G (letter assigned for Cyprus) were found as shown in the images! The only 2 eurozone countries with yet no banknotes containing their assigned letters in circulation are Malta and Slovakia!

The central bank of Malta will issue a €2 commemorative coin next year. The theme is not yet announced, however, the Euro Coins collection network had a look at the special events that will happen in Malta next year and found out that Malta will celebrate the 1950 Anniversary since the Shipwreck of Saint Paul in Malta

Belgium just issued €1 rolls dated 2008! A typical of better late than never. These coins feature a unique profile of the king which was used only for the year 2008.
