According to the official journal of Italy, the €2 commemorative coin "100 years since the death of Giovanni Pascoli" will be out on the 23rd April and 15 million coins will be minted.
The Italian mint director, Angelo Rossi in a publication for the World Money Fair wrote that this year, Italy will issue a national 2 euro commemorative coin dedicated to the 100 Years since the Death of the Italian Poet Giovanni Pascoli.
The Central Bank of Italy informed one of our members that the 2 euro commemorative coin "10 years of euro cash" shall be out on the 20th or 21st March, 2012.
According to the forum numisforum.eu the Italian 2 euro commemorative coin 2011 will be issued on the 26th April
Italy will issue 10 million pieces of this coin instead of 1 million and the date of legal tender is 15th March 2011.
