Hello all. Going through these messages I find that many collectors yearn to learn more about coins and coinage. I've spent my whole working life in coins - setting up the Malta Mint (yes we had a mint until recently!), designing and making coins (including the Maltese side of the euro) and creating a niche market. Some time ago we organized a meeting at the Mdina Museum and it was very successful. If there is any interest I'm game to repeat the experience to discuss coins not only from the collectors' point of view, but from an economic standpoint as well (seigniorage, EU matters, etc). So if you're interested ps drop me a line.
