The head of the Andorran Government, Antoni Martí, and the European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs, Olli Rehn, on the 30th June signed an agreement allowing Andorra to issue its own euro coins as from 2013 - something similar like with Vatican, San Marino and Monaco.

This was the final step in the long process of negotiations, thus, made the Andorran euro coins a reality. Andorra will issue 2.3 million in Andorran euro coins per year. The coins are not yet designed.

If it happens like the current (I guess it gonna be worse), you should wait until hell freezes...

So here we are in September 2015 and no sign of the 2014 coin!  Will it really be issued?  There were rumours that some had entered circulation.

Well here in Australia it is 6 hours away from 2016 ... Will this 2014 coin ever be released? Have you got one Angus?

Cheers Mike

No, not yet, although the signs are gradually increasing that the coin will be, or even has been, issued.  I had given up on it, but now I'm not so sure.

Then there's the two 2015 alleged coins too ...

There are strong indications that the 2014 commemorative coin will finally be issued on 29 February 2016, just 14 months late.

Maybe that's their excuse - they can only issue coins on 29 February?

I confirm that I can go and pick up the 2 euro commemorative coin 2014 next week.

Haha, imagine! ;-)

Picked up today: 2 euro 2014 BU, 2 euro 2014 Proof, Proof set 1 cent to 2 euro, and BU set 2014

After almost 2 years of waiting finally available ;-)

Finally indeed! Now waiting for 2 coins of Andorra 2015. Any idea when? In 2017?

Well, they promised me still in 2016 ;-) Maybe now that they've found how to start working... ;-)

Manana, manana!

Today I acquired this:
